Be Encouraged Through the Storm

On Sunday, the minivan broke down. Luckily, it was in walking distance to my house. On Monday, the mechanic called. His recommendation? Junk it. I have a minivan that I'm still payng for parked in the driveway. The transmission needs to be replaced as well as the ac. The worst part is that since I owe the bank, I have to continue to pay the insurance! In other words, I'm paying a car payment and insurance for a car I can't drive. A also have another van parked. It has a new engkine, but the speedometer doesn't work. Why haven'tI fixed it? Read my blogs and you'll see the series of events that keep me from taking care of things like this. With 7 kids, it's always something.

Two weeks ago, the fridge broke down. All the meat, poultry, and vegetables spoiled. It ALL had to be thrown out. I've been buying fast food or using family deals to feed the kids. I can't do that now. I'm 20-25 mintues away (by car) from a supermarket. I'm storing staples like milk, mayo and juice in a small fridge I have. Strangely enough, I haven't been stressed out. I have a strong sense of peace about the whole storm. I know down deep inside that it is going to work out.

I don't believe in accidents, so I know that I was supposed to come across two videos that I watched. They were posted on McHammer's Blog. Here's a great message from one of my favorite preachers, Bishop T.D.Jakes.

I hope you it blesses you as much as it blessed me...
