Have You Ever Felt Invisible?
There are times in our lives when we feel unappreciated. We feel invisible to our familes, friends and communities. These are difficult seasons in our lives. Here is a video that will uplift you. Below you'll find two Bible scriptures that pertain to individuals that also felt invisible.
Scriptures:
In the Bible, one can find a story about Leah. Leah was unloved by her husband Jacob. No matter how many sons she had, she was invisible to Jacob. God blessed her with many children and long life. Even though the husband she loved didn't see her, God saw her.
Genesis 29:31
When the LORD saw that Leah was not loved, he opened her womb, but Rachel was barren.
In the Bible times, bleeding was seen as unclean. Anyone that bled was cast from the community and looked down upon. No one was allowed to touch the unclean or they would also become unclean. While Jesus was walking, a woman that suffered from bleeding touched his cloak.
Luke 8:42-44
42because his only daughter, a girl of about twelve, was dying.
As Jesus was on his way, the crowds almost crushed him. 43And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years,[a] but no one could heal her. 44She came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak, and immediately her bleeding stopped.
No matter how invisible you feel, God always sees you....
