When you look in the mirror, what do you see? Do you see all your flaws-magnified? Do you see a person that you love or hate? Do you see a distorted image of yourself?
Let's take a look at how God sees you? The Bible says:
1. Psalm 72:14
He will rescue them from oppression and violence, for precious is their blood in his sight.
2. Isaiah 43:4
Since you are precious and honored in my sight, and because I love you, I will give men in exchange for you, and people in exchange for your life.
3. 1 Peter 2:3-5
The Living Stone and a Chosen People
4As you come to him, the living Stone—rejected by men but chosen by God and precious to him— 5you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
Here's a song by BarlowGirl called Mirror. I found this video that was created by someone on youtube. I chose it because many people see a distorted image of themselves, but know that God loves you. You are precious in his sight...
Miracles great and small happen everyday. True stories of miracles that have changed my life...

As a Child of God You're Never Alone
In the summer of 93 while pregnant, I was given the news. I had early stages of cancer. I was due in July. I stood alone shocked and numb, alone in the sterile doctor's office. I felt alone and to others it looked like I was alone. I wasn't. Days later, a new ministry started in the church and they covered me in prayer.
Later that summer I was given the news that my newborn had meningitis. The world spun around me, the doctor's face became a blur. Again, I was "physically" alone. In the NICU, God sent a nurse that was a prayer warrior.
In court, I was mocked by my husband. He had chosen to walk away from his responsiblity, but that wasn't all. He chose to mock my beliefs (which were once his). He was on a mission to convince the judge that I was a religious fanatic. I stood alone, surrounded by unbelievers- except God sent me a lawyer that was Holy Spirit filled.
Even when it looks like you are alone-you aren't. God is always with you-even when you don't "feel" like He is or see any evidence of it. He is the only person in this world that will rejoice with you through the good times and never leave you in the bad times. Ever. He's always on time.
Take it from someone that has been there. No matter how bad it got, He never left my side. And He never will.
Here is a Never Alone by Barlow Girl. May it minister to you today.
Remember, as a Child of God You are Never ALONE!
Scriptures for Your Day
Deuteronomy 31:8
The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged."
Joshua 1:5
No one will be able to stand up against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.
Psalm 37:25
I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.
Hebrews 13:5
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."

Barlow Girl Never Alone : The Lyrics
I waited for you today
But you didn't show
No no.
I needed you today
So where did you go?
You told me to call
Said you'd be there
And though I haven't seen you
Are you still there?
Chorus
I cried out with no reply
And I can't feel you by my side
So I'll hold tight to what I know
You're here and I'm never alone
And though I cannot see you
And I can't explain why
Such a deep reassurance
You've placed in my life.
We cannot separate
'Cause you're part of me.
And though you're invisible
I'll trust the unseen.
Chorus

What is HOPE?
What is hope?
According to Merriams Webster's Dictionary:
Hope means:
noun
1: to cherish a desire with anticipation
2: trust
verb
1: to desire with expectation of obtainment
2: to expect with confidence : trust
David often spoke of putting his hope or trust in the Lord in the midst of his enemies. Trusting anyone is hard enough, but trusting someone or something you can't sense...that may sound ludicrous to a non Christian. Trusting and desiring something to happen, when there's no rhyme or reason to it is normal to us. We stand on His Word and claim in the impossible. To others looking at us, there may not be credible evidence to believe in what we hope for. To those that have witnessed the miraculous power of God, trusting in anyone or anything else is perplexing. There were people in the Bible that hoped for miracles, signs and promises. Did God deliver the hope of the righteous? Yes.
Hope is a desire that helps one go through dire circumstances, even in the face of death. SIn the bible, there are many stories about people that have been in tragic situations and survived. They may have been under attack by the enemy (such as David), persecuted by non believers (such as Abraham and Sarah) or in the face of death (such as the stoning of Mary Magdalene). They put their hope in God and were overcomers.
Why does putting hope in God give us?
1. Hope in a God will protect us.
Psalm 33:20
We wait in hope for the LORD; he is our help and our shield
2. Hope in God will give you strength.
Isaiah 40:31
but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
3. Hope in Him will give you fervor to continue in the race.
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
4. Hope will bring you to your miracle.
Romans 4:18
Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, "So shall your offspring be."
