He has forgiven me.He has healed my children.
He has provided for us.
I am most thankful today for this. He has revealed himself to my autistic son in a very real way. My son loves God. I find little notes he writes about how much he loves the Lord and I am in awe. He was diagnosed with autism before he turned 2. He lost his speech, eye contact and retreated into his own world. I got on my knees. Then rolled up my sleeves and fought for his therapy, recovery and future.
My son has an internal calendar for all things church. If there is something going on, he wants us to be there. I was extremely hesitant to take him to a church with neuro-typical children. Instead, he surprised me by being accepted by the other "normal" children. They knew that something was different, but his love of God and people has made his autism "invisible".
Jon-Luke is like a sponge with everything about the Lord. He is most amazed with this:
"Mommy, Jesus died on the cross for our sins. He is good and loves us."
To this I reply:
"Jon-Luke, YES. God really loves all of us and He is really good!"
Celebrate how good God is today.
Recall what He has done in your life.
Meditate on His Word.
Share your testimony of his goodness.
Be blessed ....
